Library Foundation Chairperson Cindra Stiff, along with Clay Ford and Steve Ford join the Library Board, and Library Director Debbie Mesplay in breaking ground for the New Library! The Fords' generous gift to the Library Foundation was announced at the Groundbreaking Ceremony.

Community members of all ages joined in the groundbreaking ceremony.

Daviess County Judge Executive Reid Haire was among the speakers acknowledging the hard work and support needed in making the building of the New Library a reality.

Library Director Debbie Mesplay is pictured with Architect and Project Manager Mary Roskilly, Library Board Secretary Ellen Dugan-Barrette, Curtis Lesh, and Seab Tuck III of Tuck-Hinton Architects.

Construction begins by setting one of the upright steel beams.

Construction continues with the main framework of the structure in place.
